MegaMegaTypeType
The text-size companion to BS Milkshake Display, keeping its 1970s warmth and round drops but with softer contrast for long reading.
About
Designed by Maël Bächtold and released in 2026, it carries the Display's voluptuous drops on J, a, c, f, g, j, r, y and several figures, quietened enough to sit comfortably in running text. Ten weights from Thin to Black each have an italic, with a variable font covering weight and slant. An alternate ampersand and a small wave under the Q add character without getting in the way, and the OpenType set includes oldstyle figures, fractions and a slashed zero.
Classification
The text companion to BS Milkshake Display: a low-contrast serif with rounded, ball-like drops on letters such as a, c, f, g, j, r and y, tuned for reading sizes rather than headlines.
