Brog specimen from Bolditalic

A modern Scotch Roman by Dmitry Goloub and Kamilla Khalikova, with broad serifs and closed apertures for general use.

About

Brog updates the Scotch Roman, keeping its sturdy serifs and tight apertures and spreading it across eight weights from Thin to Extrabold. It is drawn to work at large and small sizes, so one family can cover headlines and running text. A variable font is included.

Classification

A contemporary take on the Scotch Roman, with wide serifs and closed apertures, in eight weights plus a variable font. Intended to hold up at both text and display sizes.
