MegaMegaTypeType
A single-weight geometric display face by Kalil Fiat, constructed entirely from spherical forms to produce heavy, rounded letterforms suited to playful headline use.
About
Released in July 2022, Blob uses circular geometry as its structural foundation, resulting in letterforms with an exaggerated roundness that softens the weight of the heavy strokes. A stylistic set offers alternate versions of select uppercase letters, extending its expressive range marginally. With 160 glyphs covering Latin with common diacritics, its scope is functional but narrow.
Classification
A single-weight display face built entirely from spherical, circular forms. Its extreme roundness and heavy weight place it firmly in the geometric display category, with no practical application at body size.
