Vtg Stencil US No. 72 specimen from Astype Fonts

The US Army interlocking-kit stencil in clean and rough cuts, with Cyrillic added in 2018.

About

US No.72 comes from the stencil kits that sit in the NATO stock number system and are still sold in American DIY stores. The foundry evened out stem widths and bridges and dropped the monospaced feel so it works as a headline face. Rough and Alt styles and a 2018 Cyrillic upgrade round it out.

Classification

Bold condensed sans stencil from US Army interlocking stencil kits, in clean and Rough cuts with Alt forms and Cyrillic. The archetypal military stencil.
