Granjon's 16th-century Civilité reworked with modern proportions and a pile of alternates.
About
Named after Civilité Puérile, the book whose lettering Granjon cut in the 1500s. Applied Systems keep the decorative character but rebuild the proportions, then add contextual alternates and stylistic sets to keep a setting from repeating itself.
Classification
Drawn off Robert Granjon's 16th-century Civilité with modern proportions and a large set of contextual alternates and stylistic sets. MyFonts lists a single Regular; Creative Boom claimed six weights plus a variable, so the style count is left open.
