A compressed multi-script display typeface drawing from Hebrew advertising and press fonts of the 1970s and 1980s, available in six weights across Hebrew, Latin, Cyrillic and Greek.
About
Taamula's assertive, compressed forms are rooted in the Hebrew display typography that dominated Israeli print advertising and journalism in the 1970s and 80s. Six weights from Ultralight to Ultrabold cover Hebrew, Latin, Cyrillic and Greek scripts, with Latin support extending to over 220 languages. First released in 2015 and updated to version 3.0 in 2022, it is built for headline use where visual confidence and cross-script consistency are both required.
Classification
A compressed, multi-script display typeface in the neo-grotesque tradition, styled after Hebrew display fonts of the 1970s and 1980s. Its stable, structured letterforms and compressed proportions place it firmly in the display category.
