A Hebrew geometric sans in eight weights that fuses the fluid cursive handwriting tradition with the structured square print script, designed to pair interchangeably with the companion Ploni family.
About
Ploni Yad crosses ktav rahut (cursive handwriting) with the conventional square Hebrew script to create letterforms that feel simultaneously personal and authoritative. Its eight weights are calibrated to match those of its twin family, Ploni, allowing letters, words and sentences to be freely mixed between the two. OpenType features include discretionary ligatures, oldstyle figures, contextual alternates and stylistic alternates for several characters.
Classification
A geometric Hebrew sans-serif that hybridises the fluid cursive handwriting style (ktav rahut) with the structured square Hebrew print script (ktav mרubba), producing an upright letterform with a distinctly informal, personal character.
