A digital revival of Hangeul type designer Choi Jeong-ho's final posthumous drawings, commissioned by Ahn Sang-soo in 1988 and digitised into a condensed serif with 2,574 Hangeul letters and extended Latin support.
About
The original drawings, left unnamed at the time of Choi's death, were named after the designer himself as the only typeface to bear his name. The design is characterised by condensed proportions, large counter spaces and prominent serifs with sharp stroke ends that lend visual strength despite the brush-oriented construction. The Std. version comprises 2,574 Hangeul syllables, 296 Latin and extended Latin characters, and 776 symbols, produced by AG Typography Institute.
Classification
