A screen-optimised Hangul serif family derived from the print typeface AG Choi Jung-ho Std, refined for digital clarity through reduced stroke contrast and simplified serifs across three weights.
About
The family retains the large initial consonants and open counter spaces characteristic of Choi Jung-ho's original print design, while streamlining fluid stroke expressions to perform at smaller sizes on digital displays. What began as a single Regular weight on Adobe has been expanded to include SemiBold and Bold, giving the family greater flexibility for UI and editorial screen contexts. Coverage spans 2,788 Hangul syllables, 321 Latin characters and 802 symbol glyphs.
Classification
A Korean serif typeface with reduced stroke contrast and simplified serifs optimised for screen rendering, rooted in the calligraphic tradition of Hangul type design associated with Choi Jung-ho. The presence of Latin glyphs with extended character support places it in a humanist serif tradition adapted for digital use.
