MegaMegaTypeType
A compressed, single-stroke typeface that ships in two subfamilies — Slab and Sans — with OpenType alternates allowing the serifs to be toggled on or off.
About
AF Silva is built on a mono-linear, single-stroke skeleton with a noticeably compressed character set. Its two subfamilies, AF Silva Slab and AF Silva Sans, share identical proportions, making the transition between serif and sans-serif forms a matter of switching features rather than changing fonts. OpenType options include pointy alternate forms, slabbed alternates, a slashed Q and compressed M and W variants.
Classification
A compressed, mono-linear design available in both slab serif and sans-serif variants, with the defining feature being the ability to switch between slabbed and unslabbed forms via OpenType features. The geometric, single-stroke construction places it in a mono-linear slab tradition.
