Dotter specimen from 6TM Magazine

A dot-matrix display face by Jason Santos, built from arranged dot patterns across four geometric style variants and aimed at posters, branding and editorial work.

About

Dotter renders each glyph as graphic texture, constructing letterforms from systematically arranged dots in reference to matrix printing, halftone processes and digital screens. Four distinct variants – Circles, Squares, Curvy and Geometric – offer visual range within a single-trick concept. Coverage is basic Latin at 96 glyphs, limiting it to display and headline use in English-language contexts.

Classification

Experimental display face constructed entirely from arranged dot patterns across four geometric style variants (Circles, Squares, Curvy, Geometric); no conventional weight range; inspired by matrix printing, halftone and digital screens; basic Latin coverage only.
