Cascadeur
6TM Magazine · Naum Type

A grid-based modular sans with space-age character, five weights, a Round subfamily, oblique styles and a variable font covering weight, slant and roundness axes.
About
Cascadeur is a modular sans-serif built on a strict 4-line grid, drawing on space-age and modernist type traditions. Each weight ships with oblique and Round variants, and a variable font exposes three axes – weight, slant and roundness – giving considerable flexibility for headline and display work. With 756 glyphs, multiple alternates per letter and full Cyrillic coverage, it is better resourced than most indie display releases.
Classification
Modular sans-serif constructed on a 4-line grid with a space-age, modernist aesthetic. Offers 2–4 alternates per letter. Available as a variable font with weight, slant and roundness axes, plus static Round and standard subfamilies each with oblique styles. No true italics; obliques only.
