A bold geometric display face from the early 1990s, built from parallel linear stripes that evoke retro sports jersey numbering and art deco lettering.
About
Designed by YouWorkForThem and released in 1999, YWFT Trisect uses a tripled linear fill across eight layerable styles to simulate depth and movement. Its geometric construction draws on art deco forms and the triple-line numbering found on vintage football and soccer kits. The family was converted to OpenType in 2010 and includes over 240 glyphs.
Classification
A bold geometric sans-serif with a distinctive layered linear stripe fill, giving characters a three-dimensional retro appearance. Its construction from parallel lines of equal thickness and tight geometric forms places it firmly in display territory, unsuitable for body text.
