MegaMegaTypeType
A digitised Wild West wood type face drawn by hand by Jeff Rogers, converted into a working system font with OpenType contextual alternates to extend glyph variety.
About
Originally conceived as handset lettering by Texas-native designer Jeff Rogers, YWFT Tall Tex carries the rough, expressive quality of nineteenth-century Western wood type into digital form. YouWorkForThem's conversion preserves the cowboy-inflected character of the originals whilst adding OpenType contextual alternates for greater typographic variety. Best suited to rustic, Americana or heritage-themed display settings.
Classification
A hand-lettered wood type revival with cowboy and Wild West influences, digitised from original handset artwork. Its rustic, display-oriented character places it firmly in the wood type display category.
