Named after Isanti County in Minnesota, one of the most Swedish-American counties in the state, this face draws on Nordic calligraphic traditions and comes with old-style alternates, ligatures and decorative swashes via OpenType. Its generous letterspacing makes it workable at smaller text sizes as well as at display scale. Travis Stearns, a Minnesota-based graphic designer, designed it to honour a regional Scandinavian-American cultural identity.
