A hand-lettered riff on Helvetica with rounded, wobbly strokes, released in two styles – normal and outline – each with OpenType stylistic alternates.
About
Originally drawn by hand in 2007 and refined into a full OpenType release in 2010, the typeface takes the proportions of Helvetica as its starting point before loosening them with an organic, hand-rendered quality. Two style options – normal and outline – cover upper and lower case, numerals and punctuation, with stylistic alternates throughout. Purchasers of the complete family receive the original EPS handset artwork, which includes additional letter variants beyond the OpenType release.
Classification
A hand-lettered interpretation of Helvetica rendered with rounded, organic strokes. The display category fits due to its hand-drawn character and decorative intent rather than text utility.
