Anodyne
Yellow Design Studio · Ryan Martinson

An all-caps display face with hand-printed texture, four distress variations per letter and a layerable shadow system for independent colour control.
About
Anodyne offers a weathered, hand-printed aesthetic across six styles: Regular, Shadow and Combined, each with an italic counterpart. Double-letter ligatures prevent repeated texture in adjacent characters, and OpenType contextual alternates provide additional extra-distressed variants. The layering approach, separating Regular from Shadow, allows designers to assign different colours to each element independently.
Classification
An all-caps display typeface with hand-printed texture, distress variations and layerable shadow styles, placing it firmly in the display category as a decorative, textured design rather than a functional text face.
