Franzi Pro
Wannatype · Ekke Wolf

A 100-style geometric sans by Ekke Wolf spanning five widths and ten weights, with Greek, Cyrillic and IPA support alongside a comprehensive OpenType feature set.
About
Originally conceived for a Viennese therapy practice signage project, Franzi evolved from hard rectangular geometry into a softened, legible form suited to both text and display use. Its large x-height and wide-running proportions make it comfortable at small sizes, while elegant details including swash uppercase variants and softly drawn italics give it character at larger settings. The family includes small caps, multiple figure sets, fractions, ligatures and a variable font, covering Latin, Greek, Cyrillic and the International Phonetic Alphabet.
Classification
Constructed with rectangular elements that have been softened through development, Franzi sits firmly in the geometric sans tradition. Its two-storey 'a' and large x-height distinguish it from purely cold geometric designs, giving it a functional, legible character.
