sans-serifhumanist sansitalic
Silta specimen from Underscore Type

A legible humanist sans with warm character, designed with interface typography in mind and extensive Latin script language coverage.

About

Fourteen styles span seven weights from Thin to Heavy, each with a matching true italic where characters such as 'a' and 'f' take on distinct forms rather than simply slanting. Curved entry and exit strokes on vertical stems give the italics a natural, handwritten quality. The character set covers a very large range of Latin-script languages alongside a full suite of OpenType features including multiple numeral sets, fractions and scientific notation.

Classification

Described by the foundry as a highly legible sans serif with warm character and true italics with distinct letterform variants, placing it firmly in the humanist sans tradition suited to interface and text use.
