Ritme
Undercase · Phaedra Charles
displayconnecting heavy display

An angular, connecting display face at a single heavy weight, its wobble deliberate rather than accidental.
About
Ritme, Dutch for rhythm, links its angular letterforms into a smashy, connecting structure lightly inspired by Lucian Bernhard's poster lettering. It's currently one Black weight, still listed as in progress, and licensed exclusively through Future Fonts. Built for display work that wants a chunky, hand-inflected wobble rather than mechanical precision.
Classification
Angular, connecting strokes at a single heavy weight place Ritme in the display category rather than the blackletter or script traditions it loosely nods to.
