Vindaloo specimen from Typogama

A two-style display typeface by Michael Parson built from original, idiosyncratic letterforms, available in Regular and Outline cuts with a rich set of alternates and ligatures.

About

Released in February 2010, Vindaloo offers Regular and Outline styles designed for headline use where character is the priority over neutrality. The extensive alternate glyphs and ligatures allow for considerable variation in setting, giving the typeface a range beyond its two base styles. ISO Latin-1 coverage supports a broad range of Western European languages.

Classification

A decorative display typeface with original, funky letterforms that resist conventional classification. The expressive, idiosyncratic construction places it firmly in the display category, designed purely for headline and titling use.
