Framez
Typogama · Michael Parson · 2015

A single-weight dingbat font of decorative frames and borders drawn from letterpress printing traditions, designed as a companion to the Jackazz family.
About
Each glyph in Framez maps a frame or border design to a keyboard character, allowing typographers to place ornamental surrounds in logos, titles and other display contexts. The designs draw on the visual language of traditional letterpress printer's stock. Although conceived alongside the Jackazz family, the font is intended to work independently with any typeface.
Classification
A dingbat font consisting entirely of decorative frames and borders rather than alphanumeric letterforms, placing it firmly in the display/ornament category. Inspired by letterpress printer traditions, it functions as a pictorial typeface.
