A four-weight titling family drawn from 1930s shipboard signage on the historic SS Columbia steamboat, awarded a Type Directors Club Certificate for Typographic Excellence in 2014.
About
Originally commissioned for the SS Columbia Project — a non-profit restoring a 1902 Detroit River steamboat — the family takes its forms from lettering found on board the vessel from the 1930s onwards. Four weights from Light to Bold make it serviceable across a range of display and branding applications, with OpenType features including small capitals and tabular figures. Since its release it has found use on storefronts, restaurant menus and print ephemera.
