displayDisplay grotesqueitalic
Honesta specimen from Typesenses

A 12-style display grotesque with exaggerated stem-to-curve contrast and slightly angular terminals, available in six weights with true italics and variable font formats.

About

Honesta draws on the grotesque tradition but pushes it toward the expressive through deliberate stroke contrast and terminals that resist the purely geometric. Six weights from Extra Light to Black each carry matching true italics, and variable font versions cover both upright and italic axes. The result is a sans-serif that retains legibility at scale while offering typographic designers something less predictable than standard grotesque fare.

Classification

A display-weight grotesque with exaggerated stroke contrast and angular terminals that give it a stylised character beyond a neutral sans-serif, placing it firmly in the display grotesque subcategory.
