About
The Dada revives the manicule, the pointing-hand symbol common in letterpress and movable type printing but rarely seen in digital type. The font delivers 72 glyphs in total, with OpenType alternate characters allowing access to the different orientations of each hand. Its scope is deliberately narrow: indicative, emphatic and instructional mark-making in a tradition drawn straight from the compositor's case.
