Originally released in 2018 with four styles, TT Nooks Serif has been significantly reworked in version 2.000: letterforms were reimagined, proportions revised and three additional weights added alongside a variable font. Its defining features are the unusual asymmetric serifs with a geometric, slipper-like shape, which aid optical balance within letters, and a pronounced stroke contrast that suits medium-to-large display settings. The family covers over 230 languages across extended Latin and Cyrillic, with 28 OpenType features including multiple stylistic alternates.
