About

Laura Pappa had worked with the Bauer Type Foundry's Venus for years before drawing Vee with Estonian studio Tüpokompanii, and it references the original's character without copying it. Five weights with italics, plus a variable font with both weight and slant axes. The release came with a printed companion, “Let yourself be bad at things”, a conversation about how the foundry works.
