A thin connected cursive script designed in Puebla, México, drawing on the sinuous forms of telephone wires and climbing vines, with extreme vertical proportions that give it a distinctive elegance at large sizes.

Teléfono's reduced x-height allows ascenders and descenders to occupy generous vertical space, lending each word a natural elegance when set at display sizes. The lowercase reads as clean and unfussy on its own, while uppercase initials introduce a flavour of 20th-century business penmanship. Character coverage extends to Spanish diacritics, including accented vowels, ñ and inverted punctuation.
