Akadis Display

A single-weight display typeface that blends industrial and geometric sans-serif shapes with the stroke contrast characteristic of contemporary serifs.
About
Akadis Display emerged from experimentation on an unreleased companion sans-serif, picking up geometric and industrial letter structures and layering in contrast and detailing drawn from modern serif conventions. The result sits somewhere between cold precision and typographic warmth, making it suited to headlines and branding with a classically inflected but contemporary sensibility. The current release covers Basic Latin only, with broader language support planned.
Classification
A display sans that merges industrial and geometric forms with contrast elements borrowed from contemporary serifs, giving it a character distinct from pure geometric or humanist categories.
