MegaMegaTypeType
A tall, heavy all-caps display face with a curl through its A, made for vintage labels and curtain-up posters.
About
Cortinas sets capitals in tight, dark columns with small bracketed serifs, and gives the A a looping crossbar that catches the eye in every line. It covers the Spanish accents and inverted punctuation, and comes as a single free style. Use it for packaging, menus and posters that want an old show-bill feel.
Classification
An all-caps condensed display face with heavy stems, bracketed serifs and a theatrical swash crossbar on the A. It borrows from old show bills and product labels rather than any text tradition, so it sits in display.
