Comic book lettering from a felt-tip pen, in a Regular and a Bold.
About
Bandita takes the capitals of 1960s comic letterers and the looser hand of independent comics, drawn with a medium felt tip so the stroke swells with pressure and overlaps where the pen doubled back. It runs a little condensed to fit more words in a balloon. Three stylistic sets swap letters so repeats look less mechanical, and dingbats add scribbles and crossings-out.
Classification
Handwritten capitals modelled on a medium felt-tip nib, after 1960s comic book letterers and independent comic lettering. Slightly condensed with a large x-height; stroke modulation follows pen pressure and overlapping strokes show the hand. Three stylistic sets, ligatures and scribble and cross-out dingbats across 960 glyphs.
