Sensate Delux started, in Montalbano's words, somewhat by accident: a few uppercase characters he kept around to test new font-editing software, expanded into a complete typeface once he had a working beta. Six weights from Light to Black each carry an italic. The Delux tag refers to its extended character set of over 3,000 glyphs, covering Latin, Cyrillic, Greek and the International Phonetic Alphabet.
Classification
Began from a handful of uppercase test characters used to try out new font-making software, later expanded into a full family. The foundry page does not describe its letterform structure in detail; kept as serif per the original brief, with no evidence found to contradict it.
