ClearviewText
Terminal Design · James Montalbano

A text-oriented sans built from the legibility research behind the Clearview highway system, with enough character to stand apart from the wider field of grotesques.
About
ClearviewText carries the legibility research behind ClearviewHwy into general text and display use, and Montalbano says it reads astonishingly well as a text face. Eight weights from ExtraThin to Black each carry an italic, and the family is available in standard, compressed and condensed widths. It replaces Terminal Design's earlier ClearviewOne family, and includes small caps, oldstyle and lining figures, and arbitrary fractions.
Classification
Built from the research behind ClearviewHwy but tuned for text and general use rather than roadway signs. Sold in standard, compressed and condensed widths, and replaces Terminal Design's earlier ClearviewOne family.
