A modular LED-display typeface offered in high- and low-resolution cuts, three weights, circle or tile pixel shapes, and matching hexagonal-grid italics, with variable font support across the full collection.
About
Built on a rectilinear grid for the upright cuts and a hexagonal grid for the italics, Ticker avoids the crudeness typical of pixel fonts through careful spacing, kerning and a considered glyph set that includes extra punctuation for all-caps settings, ligatures and an extensive range of diacritics. Two pixel-element shapes — circles in the standard cut, squares and hexagons in the Tile variants — and two resolution levels give designers precise control over how much retro-tech character to dial in. Variable fonts are available to collection licence holders, exposing weight and shape axes for continuous interpolation.
Classification
A modular dot-matrix display typeface built on rectilinear and hexagonal grids, evoking LED signage, video games and tickertape. Its pixel-based construction places it firmly in the display category, with a clear subcategory of pixel or LED display type.
