Fillmore's letters contain no straight lines, built instead from disjointed, inflated organic shapes that recall Toulouse-Lautrec's brushed poster lettering, the abstract sculpture of Jean Arp and Isamu Noguchi, and the liquid light shows of 1960s counterculture. Lighter weights read as sparse and hand-painted, while bolder cuts tighten the forms into swollen, balloon-like masses that reward large-scale use. Stylistic alternates are included in every style, and the variable font allows fine control over the degree of inflation.
