MegaMegaTypeType
A condensed gothic sans-serif in the American gothic tradition, offered in five weights with single-storey italic alternates for the a and g.
About
Kilburn draws on the lineage of Franklin Gothic, News Gothic and Trade Gothic, favouring the straightforward honesty of the condensed gothic form. Both the lowercase a and g use traditional two-storey construction in the roman, switching to single-storey variants in the italics. The family spans five weights from Thin to Black, suited equally to text and display use.
Classification
A condensed gothic sans-serif in the American gothic tradition, following precedents such as Franklin Gothic, News Gothic and Trade Gothic. Traditional two-storey a and g distinguish it from simpler geometric condensed designs.
