Codelia
Tabular Type Foundry · 2021

A humanist monospaced typeface developed over four years for coding use, prioritising comfort and personality over pixel-grid rigidity.
About
Codelia's rounded forms and humanist proportions soften the mechanical appearance typical of coding fonts, making extended on-screen reading less fatiguing. The italic carries distinct character without disrupting workflow, sitting between the strict utility of conventional coding faces and the overt playfulness of Comic Code. It ships in two families: one with coding ligatures active by default, and one with them accessible only via the Discretionary Ligatures feature, alongside Greek and Cyrillic support.
Classification
A monospaced typeface with humanist proportions and rounded forms, designed specifically for coding. The italic is described as full of personality, distinguishing it from geometric or mechanical monospaced designs.
