SUIT

An open-source UI typeface pairing geometric Latin glyphs with Hangul, built to address vertical metrics, tracking and optical alignment issues common in Korean product interfaces.
About
SUIT was created to provide consistent, polished typography in Korean digital products without requiring per-project typographic fixes. It corrects vertical metrics so that text centres correctly alongside icons and within buttons, adjusts punctuation alignment to suit Hangul, and ships in nine weights with a variable font format. The character set is kept lean for efficient embedding, with a woff2 file under 200kb covering 2,350 completed Korean characters plus 318 loanword glyphs.
Classification
SUIT pairs geometric Latin characters and numerals with Hangul glyphs, explicitly designed to harmonise with the geometric forms of Korean script. The overall design approach is clean and functional, placing it squarely in the geometric sans tradition.
