Hipster Script tries to articulate brush lettering digitally, continuing the computerised commercial-lettering approach begun with Feel Script but with more casual contrast. Extensive swashes, alternates and ligatures, including unusual apostrophe ligatures, keep the interplay between the brush's extreme widths faithful to hand movement.
Classification
An attempt to get digital type to emulate continuous brush painting, casual in contrast rather than the high seriousness of a copperplate script.
