RNT Ify
Studio Type · Walter Oscar Rothe & Wouter Van Nes

A rounded, near mono-linear sans from Right Now Type, distinguished by precise ink traps that pull the design between retro warmth and contemporary sharpness.
About
Designed by Wouter Van Nes and Walter Oscar Rothe under the Right Now Type studio, Ify takes its cues from rounded lettering found in mid-century magazines and street signage. The strokes maintain an almost uniform weight throughout, but strategically placed ink traps introduce tension and prevent the design from feeling merely soft or nostalgic. The result sits somewhere between a friendly display face and a more rigorous geometric construction.
Classification
A nearly mono-linear rounded sans-serif distinguished by precise ink traps at stroke junctions, giving it a retro-futuristic character despite its otherwise soft, uniform strokes.
