A fluid, manuscript-inspired Latin-Arabic typeface developed in collaboration with Pascal Zoghbi, featuring shifted capitals, extensive ligatures and an upright italic construction across seven weights.
About
Based on Aljamiado manuscript sources, 29LT Oskura is the expressive, fluid counterpart to the more geometric 29LT Okaso, with the two designed to work independently or together. Its Latin borrows behaviour from Arabic script tradition: capitals can shift downward in a manner analogous to old-style figures, and a rich ligature system draws the two scripts closer together. A slanted sibling was later developed by merging forms from both families, producing a third pole for the project.
