MegaMegaTypeType
A sharp high-contrast serif in Display and Text cuts, still in progress at Standard Type.
About
Venom Display Bold is all blade-like hairlines and heavy verticals, built for headlines. Venom Text Regular calms the contrast for running copy. The foundry has only previewed the two styles so far and has not released either.
Classification
Sharp, high-contrast serif with hairline joins and ball terminals on the Display cut, paired with a sturdier Text cut. Modelled letterforms and vertical stress put it with the serifs, at the Scotch and Didone end.
