Drawing on the formal elegance of Didot and his early 19th-century followers, Breathe Neue applies Didone high contrast to a script-influenced framework dense with OpenType swashes, alternates and discretionary ligatures. Six subfamilies give designers control over intensity, from restrained Light and Regular cuts through to Special and Special Solo styles built around its most elaborate letterforms. Language support spans over 25 Latin-script languages with coverage for Fula and Filipino alongside the major European languages.
