About

Tarnac Sans is a sans-serif release from Sharp Type, the independent NYC foundry behind Sharp Grotesk, Centra, Beatrice and Ogg. Specific weight range, design details and intended use cases could not be confirmed from the primary source at time of research — the Sharp Type website was rate-limiting all requests. A companion serif family named Tarnac may exist alongside this release.

Classification

Sans-serif from Sharp Type's NYC studio. Primary source (sharptype.co) was inaccessible due to rate limiting at time of research; classification is inferred from the typeface name and foundry context. Sharp Type typically produces neo-grotesque and humanist sans-serifs with strong text performance.
