Appetite Pro
Serebryakov Type Foundry · Denis Serebryakov · 2016

A professionally refined update of Denis Serebryakov's 2011 Appetite, a rough-edged informal display typeface that became one of the most recognised and widely imitated Cyrillic typefaces in logo and packaging design.
About
Appetite Pro retains the graphic naivety and lively energy of the original 2011 release whilst adding broader language support across Latin, Cyrillic and Greek, improved OpenType functionality and greater technical stability. Its warmth and deliberate roughness gave it a distinctly logocentric character that made it a natural fit for packaging and brand identity work. So widely imitated that it effectively established its own subcategory of informal Cyrillic display type, the Pro version consolidates that legacy in a more polished package.
Classification
A brush-influenced informal display typeface with deliberate graphic naivety and rough, hand-drawn qualities. Its logocentric character and emotional warmth place it firmly in the display category, distinct from calligraphic scripts.
