Skyward Sans specimen from Scribble Tone

A free display sans derived from the Hylian alphabet of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, redrawn with balanced proportions and reduced to clean, essential strokes.

About

Originally created for the Triforce Tribute art show in 2012, the typeface reinterprets the in-game Hylian script as a functional Latin font. Glyphs are abstracted to their core strokes, yielding a clean, low-contrast sans with more even proportions than the source material. Webfonts are included with autohinting via ttfautohint, and @font-face embedding is permitted.

Classification

A low-contrast sans-serif derived from the fictional Hylian alphabet in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, abstracted to essential geometric strokes. Classified as display due to its decorative, script-derived origin and limited practical range.
