MegaMegaTypeType
A 100-style, spurless geometric sans by Roch Modrzejewski, spanning five widths and ten weights with a three-axis variable font released in 2023.
About
Flat-sided ovals and a large x-height give Movida a clean, contemporary feel that works from tight condensed headlines to wider paragraph setting. The family covers five widths from Narrow to Wide, each in ten weights with corresponding italics, totalling 100 static styles plus a single variable font interpolating weight, width and slant continuously. Designed with sports, gaming, automotive and streetwear branding in mind, it includes an extensive OpenType feature set covering oldstyle figures, fractions, stylistic sets and contextual alternates.
Classification
A spurless, flat-sided geometric sans with large x-height and flattened oval shapes. The absence of spurs and the geometric construction place it firmly in the geometric sans category, with a contemporary slant towards display use.
