An all-caps display sans in six styles across three widths, with a two-axis variable font and sharp cutout letterforms aimed at logotype and poster design.
About
Designed by Roch Modrzejewski and released in October 2023, Interlaken offers narrow, medium and wide proportions alongside upright and slanted cuts, all available as a two-axis variable font. Sharp internal cutouts create an inner-shadow effect suited to dark-mode applications, and the family ships with an extensive set of discretionary ligatures, contextual alternates and multiple stylistic sets to support logotype work. The 595-glyph character set covers Extended Latin across more than 80 languages.
Classification
An all-caps display sans with sharp cutout details and three widths, designed for high-impact use at large sizes in logotypes, posters and branding. Its geometric construction, tight spacing and slanted axis place it firmly in the display category rather than text use.
