TotalBlack
Resistenza Type · Giuseppe Salerno and Paco González

A neutral nine-weight grotesque from Resistenza with italics throughout, a dedicated Display cut for large-scale work and a variable font release.
About
TotalBlack is a clean grotesque sans-serif in nine weights – Thin to Heavy – each with a matching italic, plus a Display variant built for large-scale use. Designed by Giuseppe Salerno and Paco González at Resistenza, it draws on the classic grotesque tradition and ships as a variable font with OpenType alternates and coverage for 300+ languages. Suited to brand, editorial and UI work that calls for a serious, unfussy tone.
Classification
A clean, neutral grotesque in the classic European grotesk tradition. Nine weights from Thin to Heavy plus a dedicated Display variant, all with matching italics. Also released as a variable font. No condensed or extended widths. The Display style functions as an optical variant for large-scale use rather than a pure weight step.
