A brush-drawn Tuscan display typeface with inverted contrast and bifurcated serifs, reviving the idiom of 19th-century Italian wood type through ten stylistic variants.
About
Suerte takes its cues from Caslon's Italian type and Aldo Novarese's Estro, translating that tradition into ten variants – Regular, Rough, Lines, Outline and Shadow, each paired with an italic. Designed by Giuseppe Salerno and Paco González, the letterforms were first drawn with a flat brush and Indian ink then vectorised, retaining handmade texture. The family also includes a set of dingbats and icons, making it best suited to poster headlines, packaging and decorative signage.

Display typeface with inverted contrast (horizontal strokes heavier than verticals) and bifurcated Tuscan serifs, drawing on Caslon's Italian type and Aldo Novarese's Estro for the Nebiolo foundry. Letterforms were drawn with a flat brush and Indian ink before vectorisation. Ten stylistic variants cover clean, roughened, inline, outline and shadow treatments, each paired with an italic.
